Eastman Kodak Nixie Clock
Eastman Kodak Nixie Clock

The antique Eastman Kodak 3A camera shown was modified with a Nixie tube readout of years from 1865 to 2015 for the opening video sequence for an A/V to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Cheltenham Camera Club in 2015.

Later the micro chip was changed to a conventional clock readout for normal use.

Flash head pulses every five seconds together with a rear red light from the original film number readout port. Continuous light shines through the lens modified by the lens aperture blades.
